Over 100 athletes were in attendance for the Charlotte Diamond Flight Camp. A lot of talent and most was on the offensive line where we saw a lot of Division 1 prospects. Here are some student athletes that really impressed.

2013 OL Schuyler Coleman - A 6'6" 355 lb prospect with a lot of the tools and with some work could be a real force on the offensive line.  He attends First Assembly Christian School in Charlotte, NC.  Coleman won one of the leadership awards for the camp and impressed all the coaches.  Coleman has had numerous surgeries on his legs and has a metal rod in his left leg.  He has gone through a lot of personal issues and he continues to stay positive and work hard on the field.  He is strong, has quick feet and with work on his technique he will be a top prospect that all colleges will want.

2013 OL Andrew Franklin - Franklin was our other leadership award winner at the camp.  He is 6'3" 300 lbs and is a very good looking lineman.  He shows good technique, good lateral movement and good use of his hands.  May not overwelhm the scouts with his strength but he is as solid as they come.  He pushed a lot of people around at the camp and will get a lot of looks from top schools.  He attends Enka High School in Asheville, NC.

2013 OL Blake Manning - Manning came to the camp from Georgia where he plays at West Hall High School.  He stands at 6'6" 310 lbs and all the coaches loved his effort and ability.  The OL Coach said he took all the critiques to use and already had good footwork and had very strong hands.  In the OL vs. DL battles he held his own and showed great lateral movement.  Keep a close eye on Blake as he will be sure to get more offers as next season goes on.  Already has interest from Georgia and Georgia Tech.

2013 OL Brandon Smith - Smith is a tower at 6'7" 320 lbs.  He's not just a big kid put on the line, he can move and is very strong.  He has that intimidating factor as well as he was the biggest lineman at the camp.  He pushed around defenders and really knew how to use his hands.  He has a lot of interest and just received an offer from ECU.  More offers will come with a good senior year.  He attends East Forsyth High School in Kernersville, NC.

2013 OL Dominic Orcutt - He is another big lineman at 6'3" 290 lbs.  Dominic was a little more on the raw side when he came to his technique.  He is strong and a big body but needs to learn how to use his size more to his advantage.  Good use of his hands just needs to improve his lateral movement.  He has the right foundation and he improved as the camp went on.  With a good offseason and senior year he will see some offers. He attends South Charleston High School in South Charleston, WV.

2015 OL TJ Haney - Hard to believe TJ is a freshman.  He stands at 6'6" 320 and is a very polished lineman beyond his years.  He held his own at the camp against older lineman and his physical skills were some of the best at the camp.  As the years go by he will receive tons of offers and all the coaches see him as being one of the top lineman in his class when he comes out.  At the camp did really well in the 1 on 1's and took all the critiques from the coaches and improved on the next play.  You won't hear the last of TJ Haney.  He attends Gaffney High School in Gaffney, SC.

Check out videos below of some of the 1 on 1 battles with the offensive and defensive line.

2013 WR Uriah Lemay - Uriah is a standout receiver at North Carolina powerhouse Butler High School.  He is 6'2" 198 lbs and has a lot of interest from Division 1 schools.  He is quick and has great hands.  The coaches said he looked great in agility drills and has crisp route running.  One fault could be his ability to go up and get and make tough catches but he has the big play ability with his legs.

2013 DB Corey Griffin - Corey is a good looking prospect.  He is 6'2" 185 lbs and certainly looks the part.  He attends Sandy Creek High School in GA and is a standout.  He looks good in his back pedal and has good hip movement.  Plays physical with his size and is a tough matchup for receivers.  Has interest from a lot of Division 1 schools and going into his senior year he will see a lot of offers.

2013 WR Dijuan Ussery - Dijuan plays at Nation Ford High School in Charlotte and is turning into a good looking receiver.  The WR coach at the camp really liked what he saw from Dijuan.  He had speed, hands, great route running and very positive attitude.  He is 5'11" 160 lbs, so he is not the biggest receiver but he has a lot of talent.  Has interest from Clemson, NC State and Charlotte.  Look for more schools to go after Dijuan next season.

2013 WR Dante' Pinkston - Pinkston is a small receiver at 5'5" 142 lbs.  Coaches loved him because he was very active, good athleticism and caught everything.  He has a great motor and they type of athlete you can work with at the next level.  Don't be fooled by his size as he can be an effective player in college.  More schools should take a look at him.  Dante' plays at A.L. Brown High School.

2014 RB Elijah Hood - Hood will easily be one of the top RB prospects in North Carolina when he goes into his senior year.  As a sophomore he has seen serious playing time for Charlotte Catholic.  He is 6'0" 215 lbs and runs with purpose.  At the camp all the coaches took notice of Elijah.  He has great size, good feet and looks like a sophomore in college.  Scouts already have him on the top of their list for his class and he showed all the tools to be a top back.

2015 QB Anthony Ratliff - Ratliff will be the future signal caller for Butler High School.  As a freshman Ratliff was one of the top QB's at the camp.  He has good size at 6'1" 168 lbs.  With him being young look for him to grow a few more inches.  He has good footwork, good throwing motion and throws a tight spiral.  As any young QB needs to work on his decision making but made a lot of good throws during 7 on 7 and he showed off his strong arm.  He also has good agility and quick feet.  He will be a top prospect at QB when its all said and done.

2013 LB Octavious Thomas - Thomas came to the camp from South Carolina where he plays at Myrtle Beach High School.  He is 5'9" 200 lbs and was one of the better linebackers at the camp.  Linebacker coach John Fontes really liked his athleticism and knowledge of the game.  He was always in the right spot and had good lateral speed.  You can tell when he puts the pads on he enjoys hitting people and he has a strong build to him at 5'9".  Has interest from Minnesota, Missouri and Princeton and will see more interest as the off season goes on.

2013 DB JaMarcus Moore - Moore also came from South Carolina and plays his football at Chester Senior High School.  Moore was one of the better looking DB's at the camp.  He had a quiet confidence to him as he let his skills on the field do the talking.  Moore looked great in the agility drills and showed great coverage skills during 1 on 1's.  He is 5'9" 165 lbs so not ideal size for a corner but schools should forget about that as JaMarcus has all the tools to be a good college player.

2013 LB Terry Whitehead - Whitehead plays at Green Hope High School in North Carolina.  Whitehead looks like your hard nosed hard hitting linebacker.  He is 6'0" 217 lbs and really impressed the coaches.  Has good speed and good closing speed.  Sometimes he was out of position but is very vocal and for the most part played well in coverage.  Has interest from Duke and Georgia Tech.
