2013 Defensive Back prospect Preston Brown of Stephenville High School in Stephenville, TX is bound to have a very busy offseason and senior season. JuniorRank first saw Preston at the Aledo, TX Diamond Flight Camp last summer. He immediately impressed the coaches with his raw athletic ability. He was then invited to the Proving Ground National Combine held at Chase Field in early January. There he again impressed and was one of the fastest athletes at the combine. In the final race for the fastest man at the combine Preston beat out the competition. After the impressive performance at the combine Brown was selected to play in the 2013 Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl.
Brown was considered under the radar from a recruiting standpoint going into his senior year. He has decent size for a DB at 5'10" 175 lbs and with his speed he can be a very dangerous and productive college player. Since the combine he has received interest from Texas State, Texas, Texas A&M, Tarleton, and Albilene Christian University. He has an offer from Tarleton. He attended the University of Texas prospect camp on June 3, 2012 and clocked the fastest 50 time of 4.21, his personal best so far.
JuniorRank will see Preston again at our Stephenville Diamond Flight Camp on June 23-24th at Stephenville High School. Make sure you keep a look out for Preston Brown as he is a sleeper recruit for 2013.
