This time of the year is always exciting for high school seniors to be and for those who look to play college ball its no different. The summer is full of workouts, camps, tournaments and college visits. We see a lot of athletes verbally commit to their school of choice. With one of his many college visits this weekend Elijah Daniel fell in love with the atmosphere of Clemson and when it was over he made his verbal commit.
Daniel made it official yesterday as he spent all day Saturday at Clemson talking with coaches, seeing the facilities and getting a good idea of what college life would be. Daniel narrowed his choices to 15 schools which included Clemson, Indiana, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Miami, Florida State, Ole Miss, Arizona State, Tennessee, Marshall, West Virginia, South Florida, Kentucky, and Syracuse.
In the end Clemson seemed to be the right fit and they are getting a great defensive player. Daniel will also be playing in the 2013 Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl in Los Angeles, CA in January.
