2013 RB Michael Million out of Montclair High School in Montclair, NJ was one of the award winners at the camp. From the opening dynamic warmups on day 1 Million gave maximum effort and was a vocal leader. He was the first one to get the other campers motivated and encourage other athletes who were struggling. Not the biggest player at 5'8" 170 lbs but was a guy who stood out the whole camp. Every play he was able to get the most out of himself and really impressed the coaches. Coaches at the camp said he had good speed, good feet, fluid hip motion and great agility. Last season he didn't have the most productive season but look for more productivity his senior year. Due to lack of size a lot of colleges aren't looking at Million but with his work ethic, character and leadership qualities colleges should really take a look. He has all the tools JuniorRank looks for in a athlete and represent what JuniorRank is all about.
2013 LB Jarred Alwan out of Camden Catholic High School in Cherry Hill, NJ was the other ELA winner at the Philadelphia Camp. Alwan was the opposite of the other winner Michael Million. Alwan was a quiet leader and let his play on the field do most of the talking. He was very humble and really led by example for the rest of the campers. Alwan is your prototypical linebacker at 6'2" 225 lbs. He is also being recruited at running back but but most colleges see him on the defensive side of the ball. Coaches loved his attitude and athletic ability. From the minute they went to 1 on1's and 7 on 7's he was 100 mph and displayed why he was one of the top defensive players at the camp. It was no surprise that Alwan has picked up offers from top Division 1 schools over the past few months. He currently holds offers from West Virginia, Temple, Boston College, and UMASS. He also has interest from Oregon, Alabama, Penn State, Clemson, Rutgers, and Syracuse. Expect more offers to come for Alwan and JuniorRank will be sure to keep an eye on him and help out in anyway with his recruiting.
