Martell Pettaway (RB)

At first sight Pettaway looks like a sophomore or junior in high school with his tremendous build.  He displayed both power and speed all weekend long with broad shoulders and very quick hips that helped him hit the holes hard.  Working with the high school athletes all weekend, the Michigan native looked at home and while other youth athletes may be hesitant, he played with a swagger that had older kids noticing him.  During the 7-on-7 drills Pettaway lined up as both a running back and a slot receiver at times and looked like a natural fit at either position.  However, Pettaway’s future is as a jack-of-all-trades running back who can play on any down in any situation.
